The Open Day has been running for many years and affords amusement operators a chance to catch up with the latest developments and trends before the summer season gets under way. Manufacturers and distributors, meanwhile, can showcase their latest products and top performing machines.

Electrocoin’s John A Stergides announced that this year’s headline sponsor will again be Novomatic Gaming, with Blueprint, Genesis Games, Gewete, Innovative Technology, Quixant, Reflex Gaming and RBW Systems also sponsoring the event.

In the Electrocoin Building, in addition to Electrocoin themselves (who will also be representing Elmac, Konami, Intercard and Digital Centre), participating companies will include Ace Gaming, Ask Global Systems, Astro Systems, BluePrint, Cosmic Leisure, Cummins Allison, E-Service, Fair Games, Genesis Games, Gewete, JNC, Newman Sales, Novomatic Gaming, Reflex, RBW Systems, Sega, Touch Tunes, Prestige Seating technology (providing seating furniture) and 7’s Above. Next-door neighbours UDC will also be welcoming visitors on the day.

An informal and relaxed event, Park Avenue Open Day attracts industry professionals not only from all over the country but from other European nations and the USA as well.

Preparations for the event are well under way. Electrocoin’s John A Stergides told World’s Fair: “We are very excited for the Open Day as it’s the last industry get together before the summer and is very well supported.

“It’s a mainstay of the calendar and we want to thank everyone involved from the participants to the sponsors and those attending and we are proud that we were able to present a cheque in excess of £12,000 to the bacta Charitable Trust for the previous two years. Funds raised on the day and for those participating are donated to the charity.”

Always popular at the Open Days are Electrocoin’s famous Greek BBQ and the traditional Ice Cream Van and Mr Stergides confirmed that these have been booked and will be back to keep guests refreshed.

One thing that can’t be booked in advance, of course, is the weather and after last year’s sunshine, hopes are that the Greek gods will deliver the sunshine again this year. Whatever the weather, visitors can be assured of a warm welcome at 181 Park Avenue, London, NW10 7XH.

The day runs from 10am to 5pm. Directions to Electrocoin can be found at https://www.electrocoin.com/park-avenue-open-day/
