Looking ahead, founder of Electrocoin John Stergides, tells us his predictions for the market in 2026. “In 2026, I expect the market to start recovering from the slowdown and for operators to be very careful with their investments due to a range of factors, such as high interest rates and extra tariffs. This, in my opinion, will drive people towards other forms of entertainment to spend the limited amount of money they budget for amusement purposes.”

“We will see bowling alleys, mini−golf courses and multi− attraction FECs continue to add new attractions to keep players coming through the doors, and new amusement machines will play a key role in it. The games that allow players to have a fun time and give them small rewards, like toys and tickets, will be the main reason for them to visit entertainment centres, in my opinion.”

“Heading into 2026, the needs of operators will adapt to the market. Currently, due to last year’s budget, there are a lot of unwanted situations within the industry and people are cutting down on the amount of time and money they spend in the arcade.”

“However, at Electrocoin, we are really excited about some of the games that will be available in 2026. We expect our football− themed redemption games to be very popular with arcade−goers, particularly with it being a World Cup year. I think that we have a number of new games that are going to really excite people that will launch in 2026.”
