It was a strong showing for Electrocoin at the Irish Gaming Show (IGS 2023) this year, with a selection of leading products making their debut into what director John A. Stergides acknowledged as “a growing market” for the company

As Electrocoin continues to consolidate its European presence with a series of international trade show appearances, the team were on hand in Dublin earlier this month for the return of the Irish Gaming Show.

Praising the event as “very positive,” director John A. Stergides spoke to Coinslot about the welcome reaction from visitors to the supplier’s range of products, many of which were making their Irish debut.

“We feel the venue was very good from logistics to location, as it was five minutes from the airport,” said Stergides. “The show was very positive for us, especially with the products we had on display.”

“Ireland is a growing market for Electrocoin, and we believe leisure and amusements will increase just like other markets.”

One catalyst for that growth may be Electrocoin’s Skill Shooter, which “grabbed a lot of attention” during its first appearance in the Irish market, with Stergides noting “it’s growing in popularity with operators and players.”

“For our other products, most were making their Irish debut, like Rocket Launch, Twin Star mini crane, Frog Fighter, James Bond Pinball, and the Mr Do Space Rocks. Operators were very pleased with what we had to offer, especially the Mr Do Space Rocks closed loop pusher.”

“I think everyone liked the new venue, but also there were discussions about the possible new legislation, although no one is 100 percent when it will happen. The gaming laws do need to be updated but currently our main focus is the amusement sector which is growing, especially as many operators are also looking to diversify if the new laws go ahead soon.”
