With a portfolio as broad as any in the market, Electrocoin is heading to the ExCel backed with both the games and the industry experience to really set the tone for the year ahead.

Casting his eye over market performances Stergides commented that whilst the Category C analogue market has been a steady performer video digital gaming and redemption products booth saw a notable upturn in demand, situations and visibility.

The company’s stand at EAG will no doubt be drawing a great deal of attention across the whole range of units on show, however Stergides has earmarked a particular product as being a real talking point of the event.

“Konami’s new Dancing machine Dance Dance Revolution A, as it has been 7 years since the previous edition was released in the UK,” he said. “Also we expect the new Elektra Cabinet which will show our Cat C digital product Monte Carlo to be a big talking point.”

Far from just stocking gaming units, Electrocoin’s stand will hold host to a breadth of ticketing and payment solutions, all ready to bring existing units into line with the latest market trends.

Due to the tumultuous nature of the season gone, where the industry has seen a spate of new currencies, an underwhelming part-conclusion to the triennial review and the outcome of some decidedly hit-and-miss weather, the timing of Bacta’s EAG is as pertinent as ever.

Not only representing the perfect chance to socialise and take stock of time past, the show floor will also hold host to the people, products and services that will shape the year to come.

“It is very important as the EAG can set the tone for the year ahead,” said Stergides before adding, “we will hopefully see an increase in visitor attendance and an increase in customers along with new products to boost the industry.”
