Let’s dance: Electrocoin takes delivery of the first new DDR Universal in almost a decade
Electrocoin has officially taken delivery of the new Dance Dance Revolution Universal, which caused a stir during its EMEA market debut at EAG earlier this year.
DDR Universal is the first new Konami dance title to reach Europe since 2017, with the first production run nearly selling out prior to its arrival in the UK.
“Shipments are in,” said Electrocoin. “DDR Universal has landed and it’s ready to hit your floor!”

Speaking ahead of the launch in January, sales and marketing director John A Stergides said: “It’s a brand new cabinet for the Western market that hasn’t had anything new for over eight years.”
“We have the distribution for EMEA, and it’s taken two years to finalise this deal with Konami, so we are very excited.”
