No Payne, no gain? Intern extends effusive thanks to Electrocoin for the “opportunity to prosper in this amazing industry”
Electrocoin intern Sam Payne has thanked the company for an “amazing” introduction to the amusements industry, as he moves into a role as arcade engineer at NQ64.
Having graduated from UAL with a degree in computer games and programming, Payne
spent a year at the London-based supplier getting to grips with all aspects of the sector.
“As my time at Electrocoin comes to an end, I wanted to express my gratitude to the office
and the amazing individuals that provided me with the opportunity to prosper in this amazing industry,” said Payne.
“I want to thank my senior, Neil, for teaching me all that I came to know in my time at repairs, and for providing me with the differing resources and opportunities to expand my knowledge, through different tasks and learning. I also want to thank Gabino and John, for
accepting my idea to have me interviewed as an intern, just a year ago.”
“It has truly been an honour to work for such a prestigious company in my first industrial role, and I hope to keep in contact with all the wonderful people I came to meet over this
past year.”
Commenting on the post, Gabino Stergides said “in the famous words “it’s been emotional.”
Thank you Sam, and best of luck at NQ64.”
