Electrocoin and UDC event sees final preparations taking place for Park Avenue Open Day
Final preparations are under way for this year’s Park Avenue Open Day, which is set to be hosted at the homes of Electrocoin and UDC in London this month.
More than 30 companies are set to participate in this year’s gathering, including five that will be in attendance for the first time.
The event will once again include the ever-popular Greek barbecue, as well as the bar and ice cream van.
Electrocoin’s sales and marketing manager, John A Stergides, said that the strong response from the industry shows how much people enjoy the event. “I think it shows how popular it is,” he said. “I just hope we get the weather again this year - the past few years we’ve been very lucky.”
Visitors from the US, Italy, Spain and Belgium are all expected to attend. There will once again be a raffle held to raise funds for the Bacta charitable trust.
Electrocoin is set to showcase Football Champ, which is expected to be in high demand ahead of this summer’s World Cup, while Stern Pinball will have the new Pokémon game on show.
For UDC Matt Bland told us: “When you arrive at Park Avenue for the annual Open Day event make sure to visit UDC, right next door to Electrocoin. Follow the pink carpet to directly into the UDC showroom, which will be packed with a huge range of great performing new games from the 2026 range.
"The whole UDC team will be on hand to demonstrate features of the games and our spares and support teams to answer any technical questions. Pop in for a cuppa and a snack to get you through the morning and afternoon and while you’re there grab a seat and take the opportunity to chat with your fellow amusement industry colleagues.”
